Do you provide staffing?

Fingerfood Company’s staff are professionally trained, fully accredited and attired in immaculately presented uniforms. They will deliver your food, cook and serve it, then clean up afterwards (even taking the rubbish with them).

I have booked a catered function with staff. When will they arrive and how will the food be served?

Our staff will turn up at your event 30 minutes before the food is due to be served. They will then set up and begin serving food at the agreed time. Your food will be spread out over the course of the function, cooked fresh just before it is served so that it’s hot and delicious. Our professional staff will circulate around your guests with platters, sauces and napkins, explaining what each platter is and ensuring every guest gets to try each item.

Do you offer a clean-up service?

We do – but it’s included in our staff hire at no extra charge. Once the foodbe has been served, our staff will clean up your kitchen and leave it spotless, taking any rubbish with them.

Do you have dietary options (like vegetarian) available?

Absolutely! We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and more. Check out the complete range here. You can also see which items on our set menus are vegetarian by looking for the (v) after the description.

Do I have to pay for everything in one go?

No, a $100 deposit is plenty to secure your booking. Final payment is required a week before your function takes place.

What about cutlery, crockery and other extras? Do you supply these?

I have placed my order but more guests want to come. Can I still make changes?

Yes. We understand that guest lists change, which is why you can reduce or expand your order up until a week before your party.

Can I swap items on the set menus?

Sure. There may be costs associated with this if you upgrade your items (you can check this by visiting this page), but give our team a call and they can tell you more. Should you so wish, you can even Mix’n’Match to create a custom menu from scratch. Again, simply ask our staff and they’ll be happy to help.

Do you offer last minute catering?

We are the specialists in last minute catering and can normally arrange food for your function with just a few days notice.

Do your prices include GST?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards as well as EFT transfers to make organising and paying for your function easy.

Do you deliver?

We deliver to homes and businesses around Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong and (coming soon) Brisbane. Give us a call to confirm you fall into our delivery areas. Cold food is delivered in eskies to keep it cool, while hot food is stored in special food storage boxes so it stays piping hot. All hot deliveries and DIY orders come with dipping sauces and napkins. If you’d like that super-professional touch, talk to our friendly staff about providing serving platters.

What cooking facilities do I need at my venue?

A standard oven is fine. If you have hired our staff for the event, they will also bring deep fryers with them. These fryers use a standard power point.

How much food is the right amount?

Each menu specifies how many people it has been designed to feed, and many guests tell us our servings are generous. Guests tend to eat more if there is a higher male to female ratio on the invite list, or if your function is held around breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you are serving alcohol with your food, guests may eat slightly less.No, a $100 deposit is plenty to secure your booking. Final payment is required a week before your function takes place.

I’m having a function for 50 guests but it’s between meals, so I don’t want too much food. What do you recommend?

You may like to start by looking at a smaller menu. Talk to our staff about the right menu for you. We’ve been planning perfect parties for nearly a decade and are happy to recommend the best menu for your special occasion.

Can I cook the food myself?

Most Fingerfood Company menus feature a DIY option, which sets the food up in trays ready to cook. Simply place them in the oven, follow the instructions in the included guide, and then enjoy!

How do I know my food will be as good as you say it is?

Simple - we guarantee it! If you are not 100% happy with your finger food, let us know and we’ll refund your money. It’s all part of our Perfect Party Guarantee.
