Ants on a Log

Ants on a Log

This is a popular, but sometimes forgotten recipe. Kids tend to come home from school and open up a bag of chips or unhealthy food. Ants on a Log has celery, peanut butter, and raisins which are natural treats and filling as well. They are quick and easy and travel well in kids' lunches.

1. Spread peanut butter on the whole celery stalk, in the hallow portion.
2. Arrange raisins in a single row on top of peanut butter, to resemble ants.

Serve cold and enjoy.

Cream Cheese tastes good in place of the peanut butter as well.

Serves: 1 people

Units Ingredients
1 stalk of celery, washed and trimmed
30 mL peanut butter (creamy works best)
About 8 raisins (as many as will fit in a single row on top of the peanut butter)
