Asian Shrimp Pockets

Shrimp fille wonton wrappers are baked and ready for your favorite dipping sauces. They look like little purses and are fun to serve at parties.

1. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, scallions, garlic, and ginger. Sprinkle with sugar and salt.
2. Spread wonton wrappers onto a flat surface.
3. Measure a heaping tablespoon of the shrimp mixture into the center of each wonton.
4. Brush edges of wonton with egg and fold together. Press edges to seel shut.
5. Refrigerate for 15 minutes in order to give time for egg to set.
6. Steam dumplings for 15 minutes.

Arrange on a serving platter with a sauce for dipping, such as sweet & sour sauce. Serve warm.
