Baked, Not Fried, Tortilla Chips

Tortilla chips are a must-have for many dips and Mexican appetizers, but they're full of fat when fried. Bake your own at home and you won't miss the fat.

1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
2. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Stack tortillas and slice down the middle to make two halves.
4. Keeping tortillas stacked, slice 5 times vertically, to make equal columns.
5. Arrange on baking sheet in an even layer, close together.
6. Spray tops of tortilla strips with cooking spray.
7. Drizzle lime juice on strips.
8. Sprinkle with salt and chili powder.
9. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, until the chips are crispy but not burnt.

Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
