Chicken Tikka Skewers

Chicken Tikka Skewers

Chicken pieces are marinated in a spicy yogurt mixture and then grilled to perfection on skewers.

1. Grind the onion and mix with the chili powder, ground ginger, salt, and yogurt.
2. Add the chicken to marinate for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.
3. Arrange 4 pieces of chicken on each skewer, and grill, turning and basting frequently until chicken is cooked through.
4. Serve hot.

680 g boneless chicken breast, cut into square pieces about 5 cm long
245 g yogurt
10 mL red chili powder
1 Ginger, a 2.5 cm piece, ground
1 large onion
5 ml Salt
Skewers for grilling
