Chocolate Footballs
These sweet treats are not only perfect appetizers for your next Super Bowl party, but serve as a cute centerpiece on the buffet table.
1. Microwave chocolate, corn syrup, and butter in a large bowl, for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir and microwave for another minute.
2. Mix in vanilla extract.
3. Add in cereal and mix well.
4. Let cereal cool for approximately 10 minutes.
5. Shape into 18 footballs, approximately 7 cm long each. (It helps to lightly moisten hands between footballs.)
6. Place each football onto wax paper to cool completely.
7. Once cool, use decorating gel to draw laces onto footballs.
