Cow Pies

These may sound unappealing, but you can't go wrong with chocolate covered peanuts and raisins. Plus, kids love the silly name.

1. In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate chips together with the shortening. Stir constantly until smooth.
2. Remove from the heat.
3. Add raisins and nuts. Stir to combine.
4. Spread wax paper onto a counter and drop by tablespoons onto the wax paper.
5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until ready to serve.
