Crispy Baked Mushroom Bites

Crispy Baked Mushroom Bites

These mushrooms are coated in bread crumbs and baked until crispy and ready to pop into your mouth.

1. Preheat oven to 225 degrees C.
2. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Pour flour into a bowl.
4. Pour bread crumbs into a separate bowl.
5. In a small bowl, beat egg with hot pepper sauce.
6. Arrange bowls in an assembly line in this order; flour, egg, bread crumbs. Baking sheet should be near bread crumb bowl.
7. Dip each mushroom into flour then directly into egg mixture and then roll in bread crumbs to coat.
8. Place each coated mushroom onto baking sheet and spray a light coating of cooking spray onto mushrooms.
9. Bake for 10 minutes or until hot and crispy.
10. Arrange on serving plate and serve warm.

Units Ingredients
30 g all-purpose flour
150 g dry bread crumbs, seasoned
1 egg
10 drops of hot pepper sauce (more or less depending on how spicy you like things)
225 g whole, fresh mushrooms
