Kale Chips

Kale Chips

Salt and pepper stick to these healthy pieces of kale with the help of some olive oil. The kale is then baked until crispy. Super healthful and a great alternative to traditional potato chips. These are a very attractive and unique appetizer as well.

1. Rinse and dry kale leaves. Then cut out center ribs and stems so you have each leave cut in half lengthwise. (You should now have 20 halves.)
2.Preheat oven to 130°C.
3. In a large bowl, drizzle olive oil onto kale and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
4. Arrange leaves on large baking sheets so that leaves are in a single layer, not on top of each other.
5. Bake until crisp, about 30 minutes.
6. Move leaves to a rack to cool.
7. When ready to serve, arrange in a large glass bowl or in individual glasses for your next party.
